Damn, its hot!

These past few days have been very hot, scorching hot actually. This is the only reason why I don't wanna leave the house. If I need to run errands, it would be before 10am or after 6pm huhu. Even though it rained last night, it didn't leave much effect today.

Last Saturday, I went to makcik Noran's place in Ampang for a gotong-royong. We arrived there quiet late as this particular 'mak buyung' was taking her time getting ready. The other reason we were late is because the horrible congestion on MRR2, it was a crawl in Cheras, then again near Pandan Jaya, but then it was smooth sailing. The reason? nothing..I guess its just one of those day where people decided to go out. Since it was too hot, Oya and I opted to do cleaning inside the house. Ayah, Along, ibu, Ajim and Adik did the porch and yard cleaning. Boy, they were sweating one kind...with the 11 am sun above their heads, no wonder they had headaches after that. It was real workout for them especially cutting shrubs, cut down an 11 year old mango tree (it was planted to mark the birth of Along's twins) and, moving, cleaning and rearranging pots. later, the small kids were ordered to pull out all the grass and weeds from the pots. This was done effectively with the stern orders of 3 teachers hahaha.

We came back to Seremban at about 6.00pm. Remarkably, there were not much car on the road (cam tak caya!), and we reached Seremban at 7.00pm (ayah? speeding ke?). I didn't know what happened as I was in deep sleep. It was still quite bright at 7pm, it was so warm and dry.

The next morning when I went to check out my plants, I saw this,

I almost cried when I looked at this plant (I dont know the name). The leaves are all yellow and wrinkled as if its been burnt. I immediately moved into into a shadier place. But the damaged has been done, its beyond repair (according to my mum). I just have to wait for new leaves to come out. Get well soon my plant!

As for the others, constant watering is need or all the leaves will turn yellow. I used to water once a day but lately, at least twice a day.

Lucky for me, I dont have a yard or a garden. Just a small patch of land in front. Imagine if the area is bigger, I am sure all the plants, including grass will all die of neglect, hahaha.

The heat is also leaving an effect to me, I feel tired and sleepy almost all the time. The only cool place in the house is the living room and the extra room downstairs.Thats why I never open the window in the living room as I don't want the heat to come in. (Nak pasang air-cond rasa mcm tak mampu lak nak bayar bil letrik byk2, Jeles lak tgk Kak Ani pasang another air-cond semalam..but she pays RM 90-100 each month...gilos). My average RM 25-34 monthly electric bill is already considered too much (thanks to almost 24hours of fan, 16 hours of Internet and 12 hours of TV hahaha). Lucky I don't have a washing machine and staying alone, I still pay the minimum RM5 each month for water. But still I am not happy to pay Indah Water RM 8 each month. (Cheh! aku pakai air sikit jer la...takkan takat 3 meter padu pun kau nak caj RM8 kot?...buduh).

ok, I gotta stop, its getting warmer in this room now..I think I have to move my table further than the window. will darker curtain help stop the heat from penetrating??
