Game 2: Ahmad doing the Limbo
Today, 30th Aug 2008, finally the Georgian Batch of 89-93 Reunion nite arrived. After months of hardwork, headache (and heartache), the much planned gathering was done. As for the committee it was tough work and i really appreciate the idea, effort and commitment given. After series of meetings, hundreds of emails, calls and sms (at own cost) in the end 74 people came and what a crowd they were. The event started with RAvi giving an opening speech, followed by the singing of the school song. Many didn't remember the wordings but thankfully, the lyrics were projected on the screen. Thanks to Helmi and Ravi for going to KGV to get the song and also the flag (pinjam secara haram). In the beginning it was a bit quiet, but in the end, it was none stop talking, laughing and teasing. Telephone numbers and business cards were exchanged and of course reminiscing on stories and experience while in school. I get to meet most of the people i wanna meet, and were quiet suprised with the presence of some. As i am writing this at 3.40 am, i wont write more...hopefully i get to continue in another post.
What i can say is, it was a great night, and i felt were happy. Hey, one more thing, tonight i am lucky as i won a lucky draw prize. This rarely happens to me hehehe.
