Yesterday, ibu, ayah and I went back to Sawah Lebar for Kak Jaja's and Adif's wedding. The first menantu for Ateh Nuar and Kak Jam. It has been a while since we had a wedding in Kuala Pilah. We were early as ibu wanted to attend the akad nikah ceremony at 10am. There were so many people and we had to take turns to have a peek at the ceremony.
We had the orang pangkal lunch, boy, I was so hungry, I think I was among the first in the buffet line. hehehe. Lauk sgt sedap especially the home made rendang and kurma daging...yummy (these two dishes were cooked by the host's family members, not the caterer). But the highlight of the spread would definitely be the sirap limau and cendol pilah..wohooo...greatness. No photos, too busy eating.

arrival of Kak Jaja and AdifThen at 1.00pm is of the arrival of the bride and groom, 'makan beradap' and followed by 'bersanding'. Since Ateh is a cikgu, now a PPD officer, you would be meeting many 'cikgus' and people from PPD and Department of Education. Ibu had a great time meeting her friends. Kinda boring for me as my close cousins were not around and if they were, they came late. We left after it got too crowded, too hot and when our heads started to throb.
We then went to Pak Uda's house in Senaling. He had an 'after raya open house' at his 'new' home of 2 years hahaha. After a quick shower and rest, I was fresh again and got ready to go back to Seremban. Before that, as I promised to a friend who has not been to Kuala Pilah for 20 years, to check out his favorite bookshop. Sadly the shop is no longer there.
Arrived in Seremban late afternoon. I was so tired I slept early only to wake up at 10.30 pm. Watch the drama on TV3, Cinta Dalam Hati. Uish tragis sungguh cerita tu...dah dapat laki baik, bini pulak tak sedar diri. tangkap leleh gak la ending tu huhu. Ended up sleeping at 12.30am.
