'R'

Lately, not only the sky is cloudy, but my head and my heart is a bit like that too. This is probably due to the pressure of doing and also of not being able to do my thesis.

Some of the things I planned also didn’t turn up the way I expected it to be adding more frustration.

I met R today, and that somehow added some sunshine in my cloudy days. R called and asked if I was hungry and if I wanted to join R for lunch. It was so nice of R to think of me when I was alone, hungry and cold in PTSL. The condition that time was so conducive for sleeping. Hehehe..thank for saving me from sleeping in the library.

R and I have known each other for sometime now through the Internet. R turned out to be a supporting (and sporting) friend. Since we both had experience studying in the UK, there are many things to talk about (even though we were at different ends of the country). R is very friendly and full of ideas. R is super patient and loves making me confused with tricky statements. Loves make fun of my ‘lurus bendul’ nature…cheh. I guess being in the teaching line, R and I have another thing in common that makes us click. Since both of us are first time home owners, anything about houses excites us. I still remembered the trip we made to Ikea just to ‘steal’ some ideas, however nothing turned up like Ikea’s (budget tak cukup lagi). Best la kawan macam R ni. I dunno if we can still meet up after I go back to school hurmmm.

Today, managed to get full 3 hours of reading (and sambil2 baca buku cerita bila ngantuk) and managed to get about 2 pages typed for chapter 2. Jadilah, I don’t think I can get that much at home. After lunch, continued doing work (and trying to not fall asleep) until it was so dark outside, It gave me a shock, I thought it was already night…looked at my watch..huh 6pm. Gelabah la…cleared the table, packed my bags and quickly made my way out before the rain falls. My car was parked so far away and its quite a climb. Boy, just as I passed the *** gates…it was pouring and I almost couldn’t see the car in front of me. I kept driving in the heavy rain. As I approached Bukit Mahkota…its was dry as the desert but the sky was dark..i guess the rain was moving south. Stopped at the Nilai R&R for a loo break and hahaha…guess who parked next to my car, R! kelakar giler…seems that R, too was trying to run away from the Bangi rain.

Oklah, enough for today. Penat nih.
