PD outing with Shirley

Shirley came over to PD this school holidays...the last time she was here, i took her to PD, and she did say she wanted to come again. Only this time she spent 4 days there..kira cam honeymoon with Donald. Managed to get on the banana boat ride with her ..thanks to her encouragement of course. We went to the Medan Ikan Bakar Pasir Panjang, the place was small but the food was great.

The Teh Tinggi Gathering

So much for Hi-tea..more talking then eating...but it sure was worth the time spent.

Hana's wedding

Went to Hana's wedding reception in Shah Alam last weekend. Erda took me there. It has been awhile since we attended MPIK friends wedding, a majority already had their's years ago hahaha...
nothing much to comment, the wedding was beautiful, the bride definitely was (still is) and the highlight was, of course, meeting with friends and the non-stop talking marathon.

Bread Pudding

Another successful effort in trying something new. Got this recipe from AFC-Sugar. Anna Olson made this apple bread pudding during one show. It was so easy to make and it takes less than an hour to make. For a quick warm desert, try this (of course i made some adjustments) You'll need:

4-5 slices of day old bread (it into preferable size)
2 green apples (diced)
a handful of raisins

-arrange these ingredients into a deep baking tin/ bowl.

3 eggs (2 eggs and 1 egg yolk)
1 cup milk
1 cup cream/ evaporated milk
3/4cup sugar
1tbsp vanilla essence
1tsp ground cinnamon

mix all to become the sauce then pour into the bread/apple/raisin mix. Leave for a few minutes for the bread the absorb the liquid.
sprinkle some sugar on top of the mix and bake for 30-35 minutes in a 200 C oven.

good luck
