more tears and music

Wha.....another farewell. This time to dearest Kak Nora. Before that, Congratulations to Puan Norashimah Mohamed on your promotion as Senior Assistant to SMKP, Seremban. The day she reported to the new school, I was there to accompany her. Boy, was she nervous and I was so sad.

I remembered when I first came to TeeKaySee, I used to fear her as her voice was very loud. I thought that she was very fierce to the students (and me). But of course I was wrong, despite her loudness, she is a very kind and fun to be with person. She is very serious and committed to her work. However, I warn you, don't cross her or you'll surely get an earful. hahaha.

On her last day in school, we had a small farewell party for her, a simple yet meaningful ceremony. Biasalah, there would always be a speech for the 'orang yang dirai'. At first, she was making jokes to everyone. Expressing her appreciation to all her colleagues and advising the younger teachers.

After a few minutes, tears started to flow as she recalls the ups and downs being in the school and as she mentioned a few names dear to her, her tears was almost like a river (ok...i exaggerated)

'dah cembeng', note Suwana with the tissue box.

Dearest Kak Nora, I will surely miss your wisdom. But I guess I'll miss your rude jokes more hahaha. Thank you for all your guidance and advices. Please pray I'll continue to survive in this career. All the best in the school...a different 'girls only' environment. Kenang daku selalu waaaaaaa.........dah tak de orang nak belanja I makan lagi.

Later at 2.45pm, the orchestra, wani and I left the school for PWTC. We were hired to play music during a dinner and prize giving ceremony. Note the word 'hired' meaning we got paid, hahaha. We arrived in KL quiet late due to the congestion and we had only a short time to set the stage as when we arrived, the place was not quite ready. The girls did ok during the performance, they need more practice for the competition as well as for Beijing. (They are staying back this CNY for some intensive practice)

The thing I wanna share is I don't think I can do this 'accompanying teacher' job anymore. It was so tiring. I guess age is catching up. How am I gonna go through 6 days with 42 students tagging along in Beijing? adusssssssssss. I have to survive this! Cik Pitah...you can live through it!
